Welcome to BookLick.com! We offer a fiction environment for readers and writers of all types! Want to read some great stories? Find all-original stories on the left! Want to write a story? Many of our stories are designed so that everyone can contribute, so one option is to browse the stories and find one to which you'd like to contribute. You can also start another story in any of the genres, or you can create a story written by only you, if you want more creative control! Please consider letting others contribute, though!
If you are already registered, please log in via the form on the right. If you aren't registered, consider registering today! It's quick, easy and free, and you can start writing immediately!
Have you ever read a story, but wished you could rewrite certain parts? Perhaps you would love to write, but you don't know how to finish a book? Maybe you've got a great plot, but can't figure out how to start the story?
Well, your worries are over, because you're at BookLick.com! Anyone can write a story, or just a chapter, even in someone else's story! (Though you can keep your story all to yourself, too, if you want.) Stories can go in any direction, including multiple directions at the same time. Our stories aren't limited to just two or any fixed number of paths, either; any chapter can have any number of chapters following it. The best way to learn what BookLick.com is all about is to start browsing some stories. Pick a genre on the left and start reading!
Just like salt licks bring together animals for needed nutrients, BookLick brings together readers and writers for needed mental nutrition: books! We feel that reading (and writing!) helps keep minds healthy and active, all while having a lot of fun. In addition, BookLick helps to develop a sense of camaraderie; writing together and reading each others' work lets people interact on an emotionally satisfying level.
You don't have to be a great author (but it's not prohibited either), though there is one rule we hope you'll agree to: having fun. In that spirit, we strongly encourage you to register if you haven't already done so, and start writing. Don't worry about making it perfect, because you can always go back and write your chapter again, letting others decide which version is best (or, perhaps, which versions are best).
Don't forget to visit our forum where you can talk with fellow authors and discuss all the stories! It's a great place to ask for advice or discuss various aspects of writing. Plus, every story that is created automatically gets its own topic in the appropriate genre so that there is a ready-made place to discuss it.
Enough reading here! Go, register if you need to, and get started on reading and writing!
